Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive ... GA-EX58-UD5

Hallo,

ich hab hier ein Komplettsystem mit Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 mit einem Intel Core i7 920 und Triple Kit Corsair Ram 3x2GB.

Ganz plötzlich ohne dass ich kürzlich etwas am BIOS gemacht habe oder irgendwelche Hardwareveränderungen kommt seit heute beim Einschalten des Systems immer nur ....

Diesen Text seh ich etwa 2 Sekunden bis das System automatisch neustartet und dieser Text dann wieder auftaucht .... Was kann das mit dem Bios sein?

Versucht habe ich schon ein CMOS Clear und die RAM-Bausteine zu tauschen (einzeln / andere Slots), und einzelne Peripherie abzuklemmen ...... immer dasselbe

Die 2-stellige Digitanzeige für den POST Error Code bleibt zuletzt bei "50" hängen - laut dem Manual steht das für Initialize USB & Mouse.

Im Manual wird eine "DUALBios-Funktion" beworben - scheint so als wäre die nützlich, aber wie kann ich die benutzen?

Motherboards that support DualBIOS have two BIOS onboard, a main BIOS
and a backup BIOS. Normally, the system works on the main BIOS.
However, if the main BIOS is corrupted or damaged, the backup BIOS will take over on the next system
boot and copy the BIOS file to the main BIOS to ensure normal system operation. For the sake of
system safety, users cannot update the backup BIOS manually."

Gut möglich dass das BIOS und das BackupBIOS unbrauchbar geworden sind und das Board nun nach ner BIOS-File verlangt.

haste evtl ein usb stick -> mache den auf fast/fat32
dann besorg dir das passende Bios zum Board kopier es drauf
und steck den in usb port
bzw brenn ne cd mit dem biosfile oder diskette wenn möglich
das Board besorgt sich das file dann
wichtig ist das der name stimmt

ja aber von "hard disk" ? Wie soll er das da finden, das bios ist ja noch nichtmal durchgelaufen. auf der "1. sata platte" wüsste ich nicht, dass sich dort ein bios verbirgt, geschweige denn dass das board es finden könnte.

ich hatte das grad probiert mit dem usb stick fat formatiert ... da passiert leider nichts anderes, wenn der dort eingesteckt ist
er scheint ja auch gar nicht drauf zuzugreifen, jedenfalls ne cd läuft gar nicht erst an ... es kommt ja auch keine fehlermeldung wie "bios not found" oÄ, sondern 2sec nachdem der Text zu lesen ist bootet das ding wieder neu.

wie sollte er auch von dieser zusatzperipherie (usb, hdd, cdrom, floppy, etc) etwas lesen können ohne dass das bios durchgelaufen ist ....

eigentlich hoffe ich nicht dass das ein garantiefall sein muss ..
