Moin,
eins fehlt mir grad noch.
In meiner alten Version und in allen alten Versionen gab es im rechten Haupfenster (Player?) neben dem Reiter Defauld Playlist noch einen 2. Reiter (ich weiss den genauen Namen grad nicht), sinngemäß "Actually Playing" - wisst ihr schon Bescheid oder muss ich noch mal genauer in älteren PCs suchen wie das Ding hieß?
Den brauche ich auf jeden Fall zurück, finde die Aktivierung aber nicht...

Meinst Du, dass man jederzeit zum aktuell spielenden Titel in der Playlist springen kann? Falls ja: Das ginge mit einem Doppelklick auf die untere Statusleiste. Alternativ könnte man sich auch einen Button dafür anlegen.

Hi!
Ja, das ist genau die Funktion die mir fehlte.
Bisher hatte ich immer einen Reiter, bzw eine eigene Playlist, dafür. Das war auch schon standardmäßig konfiguriert.
Das war/ist wichtig wenn man mehrer Playlists hat. Ich tagge zum Beispiel auch alles mit Foobar, das heisst ich habe auch Reiter/Playlists nur fürs taggen für Hörbücher oder Musik. Wenn man dann mit den Tagging-Playlists arbeitet und man nicht mehr weiss welcher Titel oder welches Album im Hintergrund läuft, und schnnel drauf zugreifen kann, ist das halt blöd. Wie gesagt, funktioniert aber auch mit dem Doppklick unten

Das ist aber halt das was ich an Foobar so liebe und was es letztlich unverzichtbar macht: die vielen, gut organisierten Tools.
Und Foobar klingt sehr gut.

Parallel habe ich noch Musikbee laufen (Audirvana hat mir nicht gefallen), da ist die optische Darbietung (ohne Konfiguriererei) manchmal schöner.
Und die EQs sind bei Musicbee besser.
Dafür kann Foobar Crossfeed.

Aber das wären auch noch 2 Fragen, ihr/du scheint euch ja wirklich gut auszukennen:
1) Gibt es irgendwo noch gute EQ-Presets?
2) Ich würde gerne Foobar fernsteuern, bspw. mit einem anderen Laptop (via Foobar).
Und ich würde Foobar gerne zum Fernsteuern nutzen, z.B. nen Wiim, Daphile oder nen anderen Foobar-PC.
Ich kenne ich mit Streaming und Vernetzung nur wenig aus da ich bisher alles per Kabel am PC laufen habe (ich habe nur eine Desktop-Setup)

Hattest Du vorher eine Art "Warteschlangen"-Playlist im Layout? Sowas gibt es natürlich immer noch: foo_queue_viewer-1.3.fb2k-component

foobar2000 ist im Auslieferungszustand in der Tat sehr einfach und sieht wohl etwas "karg" aus. Der Vorteil ist allerdings, dass man die Config mittels der ganzen Komponenten auch optisch anpassen kann - bis hin zu "Klickibunti".

Zu den beiden letzten Fragen:

1. Offizielle EQ-Presets gibt es nicht - zumindest mir nicht bekannt. Nach etwas Googlen habe ich hier und hier etwas gefunden.
2. Ich habe es selbst nie getestet, aber es gibt dafür die Komponente Beefweb Remote Control.
