i've now the 1.0.0.7 bios and the 1.0.0.6 ec firmware... i shoult update before the 1.0.0.10 bios and then the 1.0.0.8 ec firmaware right ?

this bios has been done by clevo or schenker ? do you know if is coming a bios with the supporto of the quadro 4000m ?

PNF_LIST_CORRUPT Anyone use the CORSAIR CMSX8GX3M2A1600C9 without problems ? i 've install this module in the slot near the cpu , is better to put on the other two slot under the keyboard ?

that's the story.... :D i make a mistake , update the bios before the EC , then i would to re-install the original bios and brick the laptop bios... then i use the pdf of the AMI BIOS PDF of BIOS Recovery Methods insert a usb pen with the correct EC firmware and start the recvery update...

done ! done ! done !...laptop works with the AMIBIOS Flash mode with pen drive!!!!!!!

...nothing changed on mine , i've tried to bott without ram , hdd and now i try vga but nothing changed... i think to try RMA or the agency recvoerybios ( in italy ) which can remove solded bios chip and but one new with the new bios.

after power on , the pc appared to try a chance to boot by disk but it doesn't show anything on the display... to chance to entry in dos/bios setup ---------- Post added at 03:18 ---------- Previous post was at 03:15 ---------- eh ? i don't understand ... ;) i've telle there the same...

two mistake at the price of one :D i've contact an italian agency which can flash manually the bios or change the bios chip... i've contact notebook barebone ( alias notebook guru ) , the shop where i've bought this barebone... if they tell me they can fix ok , if they can't i send this to...

that's my story :D 1- i've take the p170em with the 1.0.0.3 bios and EC 1- first error , i flash the bios 1.0.0.6 before ec and the ec firmware don't recnognized the bios 2 - i try to re-install the 0.3 or 0.4 bios but nothing works , next a try to flash the bios with a version who pass over...

i not waited because i've too much blue screen , only for this. now i can't entry in dos , i can't see the bios first log , only black screen. i've tried to remove the bios battery but nothing happend

ec flashed , but after bios , nothing start remain active power button led , bluetooth led and the system , after about 30 second restart and the situation restart from beginnging... argh! :( i've tried to remove the battery bios and not the system , after the switch on , don't restart but...
