IMC on the CPU is the limiting factor, i'm very happy with the memory:d
It was clearly the best when i was binning CL26 @ 6400MT/s with different memory sets
For CL32 8000MT 1.51VDD is required
CL30 8000MT/s needs 1.71 VDD
The only drawback is that they dont like GDM disabled above 8200MT/s...
So i have swapped over to my sample #3 9950X3D with the strongest IMC, and for the last week i have been finetuning the settings/voltages and pushing the memory as hard as i could for a fully stable daily memory profile
At the end of my journey i reached a wooping fully stable 8744MT/s CL32...
No i had it disabled, was trying to push CPU/mem, thats why the 720p lowest results etc
(made those screens since requsted in a arrowlake thread on a other forum)
Not pushing, just did 4 back-to-back runs without restarting/closing apps etc, framegen disabled
Pretty sure my air cooled 5090 is getting pretty heatsoaked (only running a light OC until I get my waterblock)
720p lowest = 206.1 fps
1080p lowest = 198.66 fps
1080p ultra = 162.38 fps
2160p...
Only a low-effort PBO easymode run, but since requested:
9950X3D @ custom watercooling
Asus X870E APEX
G.SKILL 6000MT/S CL26 @ 8700MT/s CL32 -> 1.74VDD / 1.55 VDDQ @ Air cooling + custom heatsinks
2200mhz FCLK
Extreme
Godmode
Seems like X3D sees no benefit in this benchmark other than mem...
I'm a little bit busy binning new 9950X3D's cpus, but since you asked, I have done a r23 run with only enabling PBO in bios with zero CO value. (stock "2x" fit value)
LLC = auto (=7 out of 1-8 where 8 have the least vdroop)
Getting around ~275w PPT load in R23 multi
The 9950X3D clocked lower than the 9950X.
And I didn't want to go over 300 W.
The difference in the result is about 0.5%, so pretty much exactly between runs.
Updated with new 9950X3D scores
9950X3D ES @ custom watercooling
Asus X870E APEX
G.SKILL 6000MT/S CL26 @ 8800MT/s CL32 -> 1.74VDD / 1.55 VDDQ
2200mhz FCLK

Saw i forgot to screenshot the memory + cpu tab, so had to rerun one...
Release day for the 9950X3D is finally here and I can start to share some screenshots :)
This is my new daily profile ive managed to stabilize the new G.SKILL 6000 CL26 sticks at
9950X3D ES
8600MT/s CL32 💪
1.74 VDD / 1.55 VDDQ needed for these settings
Core tuning level 2
1,500 CPU VDDIO
